ടൂറിസം വികസനത്തില്‍ കേരളത്തിന് കേന്ദ്ര വിമര്‍ശം, നടപ്പുവര്‍ഷംതന്നെ ഈ സംവിധാനം പൂര്‍ണാര്‍ഥത്തില്‍ നടപ്പാക്കും

കൊച്ചി: വിദേശ ടൂറിസ്റ്റുകള്‍ക്കായി അടുത്തമാസം മുതല്‍ ഇ-വിസ ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തുമെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര ടൂറിസം അഡീ. സെക്രട്ടറി ഗിരിശങ്കര്‍ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി. കേരള ട്രാവല്‍ മാര്‍ട്ട് എട്ടാം പതിപ്പിന്‍െറ സമാപന സമ്മേളനം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത് സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. ആദ്യഘട്ടത്തില്‍ 40 രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളെയാണ് ഇതില്‍ ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളിക്കുന്നത്. ഇ-വിസ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പ്രധാന വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് ടൂറിസ്റ്റുകള്‍ക്ക് ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ എത്താന്‍ സൗകര്യം ഒരുക്കും. നടപ്പുവര്‍ഷം തന്നെ ഈ സംവിധാനം പൂര്‍ണാര്‍ഥത്തില്‍ നടപ്പാക്കും. ദൈവത്തിന്‍െറ സ്വന്തം നാട് ടൂറിസ്റ്റുകളെ ആകര്‍ഷിക്കുന്ന മനോഹര പ്രദേശമാണ്. എന്നാല്‍, ടൂറിസ്റ്റുകളെ ആകര്‍ഷിക്കാനുള്ള പദ്ധതികള്‍ക്ക് സംസ്ഥാനം താല്‍പര്യം കാണിക്കുന്നില്ല. വിദേശ ടൂറിസ്റ്റുകള്‍ക്ക് ആതിഥേയത്വം വഹിക്കാനും മാര്‍ക്കറ്റിങ്ങിനുമുള്ള കേന്ദ്ര പദ്ധതികളുടെ സാധ്യതകള്‍ കേരളം ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തുന്നില്ല. മറ്റു തെക്കന്‍ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളും ശ്രേണിയില്‍ ഇ തന്നെയാണ്.

അതേസമയം, അനന്തസാധ്യതകളാണ് കേരള ടൂറിസത്തിനുള്ളത്. വൃത്തിയും സുരക്ഷയുമാണ് ടൂറിസം നേരിടുന്ന പ്രധാന വെല്ലുവിളി- അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. മൂന്ന് ദിവസം നീണ്ട ട്രാവല്‍ മാര്‍ട്ടിലെ മികച്ച സ്റ്റാളുകള്‍ക്കും മറ്റും ഗിരിശങ്കര്‍ അവാര്‍ഡ് നല്‍കി. സംസ്ഥാന ടൂറിസം സെക്രട്ടറി സുമന്‍ ബില്ല അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. കെ.ടി.എം. പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് ജോണി എബ്രഹാം ജോര്‍ജ് സ്വാഗതവും കെ.ടി.എം. സൊസൈറ്റി സെക്രട്ടറി അനീഷ്കുമാര്‍ നന്ദിയും പറഞ്ഞു.

Athirappilly Water Falls !!

The Athirappilly Falls is situated 1000 ft above sea level on the Chalakudy river, at the entrance to the Sholayar ranges of the Western Ghats, Athirappily is a scenic combination of forests and little streams. Falling from a height of around 100 feet, this is one of the largest and beautiful waterfalls in India.
